Abstract

Over the past decade, there has been a growing consensus regarding the importance of integration in supply chain management. Supply chain integration enables companies to overcome their resource constraints through more innovation and lower costs. The integration strategy guides the supplier and the customer towards the joint value creation process and creates value for the company's customers. This strategy can provide conditions for the company to be able to focus on its core competences and specialized fields. The main goal in supply chain management is integration in the chain in order to improve the effective indicators in the chain by recognizing the needs and deficiencies in the chain. This method of management ultimately optimizes the value chain and all the stakeholders of the organization benefit from it. Considering the importance of the issue, this chapter deals with the study of supply chain integration.
