Abstract

Entrepreneurship is the engine of economic development in developed and developing countries. This concept is dedicated to the processes through which entrepreneurs use organizational resources and technical systems and strategies to achieve opportunities in entrepreneurial organizations. In fact, technological entrepreneurship can be considered an important strategic choice for individuals and companies to enter a new market or new business field and it can be defined as "the method and process of discovering, exploiting and exploring market opportunities for technologies". The purpose of technological entrepreneurship is to study the characteristics of entrepreneurial behaviors in environments focused on technology and new technologies. Therefore, the study of technological entrepreneurship is important, because it examines a combination of risk factors associated with entrepreneurship. Considering the importance of today In addition to this concept in today's world and in the era of transformative technologies, this chapter of the book deals with the structure and dimensions and important models of technological entrepreneurship as well as its obvious differences with conventional entrepreneurship.
