Abstract

Due to the rapid global changes in today's world and due to the advances in information technology and its applications in various industries and services, companies have acquired various capabilities. These capabilities include the establishment of diverse and numerous communications, the combination of capabilities and competences, fast and diverse displacements, agile activities and processes, and such things. Today's organizations must move from the static and slow state of today's businesses to dynamic, fast frameworks, with simple and frequent access and without time and place restrictions, as well as without considering business processes and related computer systems. Smartening the supply chain with transformative technologies can solve a wide range of challenges in the field of logistics and supply chain management. Smart supply chain helps you manage your warehouses better and can predict supply and demand. On the other hand, the digital supply chain will also be useful for improving the organization's customer experience and reducing costs. In this chapter, the features of the smart supply chain in the new era are examined.
